The birth of a new form of terrorism: Daesh, Boko Haram, ISIS

After the death of the chief of Al Qaida Oussama Ben Laden, in 2011, a new style and type of terrorism begin. It’s just after the end of the movement AQMI that Daesh or better known as ISIS grew up in all over the world.

Daesh is first a terrorist movement who began in 2007 in Iraq and Syria. They were against the political system. But in 2011 Daesh started to spread their ideas all over the world. They used social medias like videos or websites on internet to pass their messages of fear. In 2012 ISIS expand themselves in Syria and took a major place in the political aspect. This marks the start of the real “Daesh” that we all know now.

The group started after a war with Al Qaida, and this war was also a media power war. Daesh started to use website and also video of revendication and ideologies video. You can also find articles who were writing by soldier of ISIS. Then they wanted to control the world and spread their ideas all over the planet. That is why in 2015 there will be an alliance between Daesh and the group who was leading by Abubakar Shekau Boko Haram. This group was based in Africa that is the reason why ISIS did this to spread their ideas in Africa. They started to be more and more actives on social medias.

First, they did a campaign of recruitment on social medias like twitter or Facebook. They started to select people from all over the world. They started to spread their ideas with new form also of propaganda.
