Why are they using social medias ?

The modes of communication and especially the institutional ones have changed. In the digital age everything goes through the Internet. Ended communication by mail or interview. Moved to social networks and communication 2.0. Indeed, some members of the Government have clearly understood that from now on the communication the attention and the confidence of the citizens is gained on the social networks through posts and interactions and not through passages to the JT of 20h and articles on the national newspapers. The terrorists figured it out, too.

Social networks provide a forum for all, and are a force for proposals, while allowing citizens to formulate their demands and grievances that will be dealt with instantly

Terrorist organizations have quickly understood the stakes of close communication in this 21st century. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube are their hunting grounds for recruiting as well as reaching entire nations.

In the current context, where terrorism is spreading worldwide, vigilance is more than necessary. We must choose with great care the posts and images that we share, love and comment throughout the day.

Terrorists are not aliens from nowhere, many of them surely have above-average intelligence. By sharing images that offend sensibility or messages written by anyone, we play their game.
